Bareiss HPE-III-Fff Fruit Firmness Tester
The HPE Fff is designed for testing the firmness / hardness of fruits, vegetables, meat, and fish.
Common applications include peaches, apricots, plums, cherries, tomatoes, strawberries, apples, avocados, kohlrabi, carrots, cucumbers, radish, and more.
The Bareiss HPE-III-Fff Fruit Firmness Tester penetrometer is designed for non-destructive hardness testing of fruits, vegetables, meat, and fish. A spring-loaded outer sleeve assists the operator in applying the correct pressure to achieve repeatable results. Interchangeable anvils allow for fast and accurate measurement on common applications including peaches, apricots, plums, cherries, tomatoes, strawberries, apples, avocados, kohlrabi, carrots, cucumbers, radish, and more. A built-in timer allows the operator to record the measured value after 3 seconds of contact per industry standards. The timer is adjustable as desired.
